Lotus Shrine

It's the year 2264. Detective Garcia wakes up in Olympus, a strange and dangerous city, with a mission to accomplish, and ghosts of his past to face.

Lotus Shrine is a walking simulator with a heavy focus on dialogue, 4-5 hours long.

Hi! I'm DaveMcLion, a software dev that has always been passionate about game development.  Although I've been making games since I was 12, this is the first project that I considered decent enough to publish on the internet. This is also the first game I developed using RPG maker.

Lotus Shrine is a passion project, that was born approximately a year before its release. It is more of an interactive story than a game, and I even considered writing an e-book instead of creating this game, but, besides developing being more fun for me than just writing, I truly feel that being able to visualize the locations and the characters that appear in the story, and being able to control the main character, can help immerse in the story.
